My very first PONY is pictured below on the right, along with Honey and Beli (in white) on the left. It is always exciting to create a new pattern and bring the piece to "life". I am so excited about this new design (but have shortened the ears just a bit.) I hope you all adore Strawberry Fields as much as I do, and I'd love to hear your feedback! These pieces are currently available for adoption. More photos can be seen on BearPile.

San Diego Doll & TEDDY BEAR Show This weekend!
The semiannual San Diego Doll and Teddy Bear Show is tomorrow, and I can hardly wait! I will be on the second floor sharing a table with my daughter, Sara VanOrden of Out of the Orden-ary.
The show begins tomorrow morning at 10:00 am. After the show is the 2014 TOBY Industry Choice Awards and a mystery dinner. This will be our first year attending the TOBY Awards dinner, and we can hardly wait to see what it is like.
If you're in the area and free this weekend, please stop by the show and say hello! As always, we love meeting our collectors! There will be bears, dolls, and more! I will be bringing my newest design and first ever PONIES!!!

Lonnie
Lonnie is a brand new pattern I created this week.
I was shooting for a bit smaller, but he turned out to be 8.5 inches small.
I am very comfortable with this size as the foot pads are hard for me to do any smaller than this.
I admire those who can create smaller teddies! Maybe some day...
I can't wait to cut out another bear from this pattern!
I hope you find Lonnie as adorable as I do!
